- 2012 league will use any team manager chooses, from 1965-2011
- 2 additional draft picks from the same franchise in the same period will be allowed. These picks must not be used by any other manager. However, it is OK to have the same player for more than 1 season, for example Halladay 2010, Halladay 2011.
- Use traditional Avalon Hill Statis Pro Baseball Cards
- 8 teams, 2 divisions, 20 game season, 4 games against each intra-divisional opponent and 2 games against each inter-divisional opponent, 10 home games a piece
- Top 4 teams will play in the post season. Round 1 will be best of 3 games and round 2 will be best of 5 games.
- Must use a minimum 3 pitcher starting rotation
- If a relief pitcher has been used 4 games in a row, he must be given a day off
- Any number of missed games resulting from injury will be divided by 10
- No designated hitters will be used. Since an AL team from the DH era may be chosen, pitcher batting cards will be created using the pitchers’ hitting stats from the other teams chosen.
- The vote was close, but those wanting the new base running rules have won, so we will give that a try this season.
